SUMMARY:Worts CIDERFEST 2018 - 10/21
DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in trying some of the best homemade cider in the country? Are you interested in making your own cider? If you answered yes to either or both of these questions\, you need to check out the Boston Wort Processors annual Ciderfest coming up on Sunday 10/21 from 12-3 PM. \nWe’ll head up to Cider Hill Farms in Amesbury (45 Fern Ave\, Amesbury\, MA 01913) to hang out\, try each other’s ciders/beers\, and enjoy what will hopefully be a lovely fall day. \nIn addition Glenn & Karen at Cider Hill has offered to arrange a bulk cider buy for the\nclub. This will be a custom blend of unfiltered\, unpasteurized cider.  The price is $6/gallon\, which is approximately 25% off retail.  Ideally\, we’d like to set a 5 gallon minimum purchase.  I’d like to get him a head count of how many people will attend the event and a count of how many gallons we’d like to buy.  If you’d like to buy cider but won’t be able to attend the event\, please make arrangements to have someone pick up your cider on your behalf.  All cider MUST be picked up during CiderFest on 10/21. \nWe are on schedule to get a tour with Son Chadd the cidermaker too. SUMMARY:Notch Clone Competition
DESCRIPTION:The Notch Infinite Jest Clone Competition Judging will take place on Sunday\, June 11th (exact time TBD).  We will once again be throwing down our club brewing chops against BFD.  We will be hosted by Chris Lohring at Notch Brewing in Salem.  All who brewed are welcome to join and we encourage all club members to sign up to judge or steward.  If you brewed for the competition but are unable to join for judging day\, you will need to make arrangements for your entries to be transported to Notch.
