February Monthly Meeting @ Beacon Hill 2/19 7 – 9 PM

The February club meeting will be held on Thursday February 19th from 7 – 9 PM at a members house in Beacon Hill. This meeting will be our Annual Cider centric meeting, so make sure not to miss it. The last three years we’ve had great Cider meetings, with rare tastings, expert advice and a tour of the best home-cidery in Boston!

Further information about the meeting, including education session, will come as we approach the date

Details on location will be sent via the Worts email list. If you are a non-member or do not have access, please reach out to us at officers@worts.org for more info.

January Meeting

Our January meeting will be our annual Cider meeting! We will be joined by a rep from Shacksbury Cider to lead a discussion about their cider, as well as ample commercial and homebrew examples! Details on the mailing list, or contact us for location information.

January Meeting

Our January meeting has been scheduled for Thursday 01/19. We’ll be at William’s place in Beacon Hill. William’s place is a four block walk from both Arlington St. (Green line) or Charles/MGH (Red line).  There is parking in Boston Common Garage or meter spots on Charles Street or Beacon Street.  If possible, we strongly encourage everyone to take public transit.

The topic for January will be cider and William will have several of his award winning ciders available for tasting.

Please see the email list for the specific address, or if you are not yet a member and would like to attend, use our contact form to get the location.

Ciderfest

This is an annual Worts event and is open to friends and family.  We’ll head up to the farm to hang out and enjoy each other’s company and ciders.  We ask everyone to bring a potluck dish to share, and please bring any homebrewed or favorite commercial ciders.  While the bulk cider buy is closed, the event is open to everyone in the club.  Please join us if you can!

While Cider Hill Farm is not convenient to public transportation, there is AMPLE free parking.  For more information about the farm, please check out their website.
