A friendly reminder that next week, December 7, we will be hosting the annual Worts Holiday Party at the Pickwick pub, Sam Adams Brewery in Jamaica Plain. Please check the wort mailing list for the sign up sheet for head count and the pot luck.

If you did not receive an email with the link to the signup, please contact the officers.

Worts Trophy Case now live!

What good is winning medals at homebrew competitions if you don’t brag about it? Wort members Ian Anderson and DT have got the Worts trophy case up and running so we can now keep track of the straight up domination of our club in homebrew competitions across the country.

In addition, the trophy case comes with a little competition. Score points for winning medals, and at the end of the year we’ll see who fared the best this year.

Click the link in the main menu to browse and use the trophy case.

Holiday Party!!!! December 7th @ Samuel Adams JP

It’s that time of year again, the Boston Wort Processors Annual Holiday Party! Once again, our friends at Samuel Adams have been generous to offer to host us at the Pickwick pub (30 Germania St, Boston MA). Plan on coming down to Jamaica Plain, Friday December 7th from 5 PM to 830 PM.

The holiday party will also serve as our December meeting, so it will be your last chance to attend a Worts event before the New Year.

More details on potluck, beer share, etc. to follow. Hope to see everyone there!

AHA Members Rally – Night Shift Brewing!

The American Homebrewers Association is hosting a members rally in our neck of the woods, at Night Shift Brewing. This is a great opportunity to keep up the momentum we have from NHC to continue to make AHA aware of our kick ass club, and to also interact with other local homebrewers who are parts of other clubs, or possibly looking for a club to join. Come on out for all or part of the rally and you’ll definitely see some friendly faces. Make sure to wear your Worts t-shirt!
