We’ll have the club tent set up just off of the parking area for our gathering spot.
Check your email or Slack for a link to the spreadsheet to sign up for the bulk cider buy and to note your potluck contribution.
See you there! Bring your best and/or worst ciders for people to try.
The club’s February meeting will be Thursday Feb. 27th, 7-9pm at Roundhead Brewing in Hyde Park. Come early to their taproom and get a beer and something to eat!
The January meeting and post-holidays holiday party at Sam Adams last Friday (1/24) was a great time as always, with bountiful potluck food and a wide variety of beer.
Many thanks to Sam Adams and their staff for hosting us for another year!
Our November meeting will be Wednesday November 20th, 7:30pm, at Bentwater Brewing in Lynn. This meeting will be our annual elections meeting; nominations for any of the positions of President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, or Webmaster are welcome at the meeting, or by email to secretary@wort.org. Please refer to the bylaws for further details.
Logistics tips from our hosts: “We are a very hidden brewery. Enter the “Healthy Pet” parking lot and our brewery is on the right past Lou’s Exhaust. Do not park in front of Lou’s Exhaust (he has signs everywhere). You can park in front of the brewing or anywhere that says Bent Water Distribution. If you drive past the brewery, there is also space to the right past the brewery that people can park.”
They are about 1 mile from the nearest station on the Newburyport/Rockport commuter rail and just steps from the Lynnway served by a handful of bus lines.
September meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 7:30-9:30 PM. Our very own Garrett will be hosting us at Jack’s Abby in Framingham, just in time for Festbier season. We’ll be meeting in the old Springdale taproom at 102 Clinton St. Parking will be in the lot at the corner of Clinton and Bishop. The main Jack’s Abby taproom and kitchen will be open for those whose who would like dinner and a pint before the meeting. Homebrew and commercial beer is ok in the meeting venue, but not the main taproom.
