Are you interested in trying some of the best homemade cider in the country? Are you interested in making your own cider? If you answered yes to either or both of these questions, you need to check out the Boston Wort Processors annual Ciderfest coming up on Sunday 10/21 from 12-3 PM.

We’ll head up to Cider Hill Farms in Amesbury (45 Fern Ave, Amesbury, MA 01913) to hang out, try each other’s ciders/beers, and enjoy what will hopefully be a lovely fall day.

In addition Glenn & Karen at Cider Hill has offered to arrange a bulk cider buy for the
club. This will be a custom blend of unfiltered, unpasteurized cider.  The price is $6/gallon, which is approximately 25% off retail.  Ideally, we’d like to set a 5 gallon minimum purchase.  I’d like to get him a head count of how many people will attend the event and a count of how many gallons we’d like to buy.  If you’d like to buy cider but won’t be able to attend the event, please make arrangements to have someone pick up your cider on your behalf.  All cider MUST be picked up during CiderFest on 10/21.

We are on schedule to get a tour with Son Chadd the cidermaker too. For
those that have been in the past, he’s a wealth of knowledge and his ciders
are winning major awards!
