The next club meeting will be on Wednesday September 19th starting at 7pm at the Pickwick Pub at Samuel Adams Brewery in Jamaica Plain.
If you haven’t made it out to the newly renovated facilities at Samuel Adams, this is a great opportunity to not only check it out, but to get a behind the scenes look, and maybe some special surprises!
Stay tuned for details on the specific topics we will be covering, but you can be sure there will be some awesome homebrew!

Our September meeting will be hosted by Matt D. at his place in Somerville on Wednesday evening, September 27. We will have a special guest lecture by Kate Steblenko, Beer Scientist at Jack’s Abby, on the topic of quality control in brewing – “When Good Bugs Go Bad: Detection of Beer Spoiling Microorganisms in a Mixed Fermentation Environment“.
Bring homebrew, especially mixed or wild ferments and those with unexpected flavors (good or bad). If you are not a club member, but would like to attend, get in touch using our contact form.
Our August meeting will be hosted by Nathan at his place in Somerville on Saturday afternoon, August 5. We’ll have an outdoor space and a tent in the event of inclement weather. This meeting will cover our Saison process experiment, so get your tasters ready! As always, bring homebrew if you’ve got it and/or commercial examples if you don’t.
Please sign up on the sheet sent via email so we have an approximate headcount and can coordinate food.
We are adding an additional meeting to the calendar for May. We will be conducting a taste test of our most recent club exbeeriment on using different base malts. There will also be BHC awards passed out and we’ll be having a drop-off for the Clone Competition.
