NERHBC Brewer of the Year: Phil Nerboso
Wort member Phil Nerboso, reigning NEHRBC 2017 brewer of the year celebrated his victory by brewing up a beer with Great North Aleworks Phil and Rob brewed a big English barley wine that’s going to find its way into whiskey barrels until it’s ready! Thanks once again to our friends to the north at NERHBC and Great North!
National Homebrew Competition!!!!!!!!!!!
This year at the National Homebrew competition the Worts cleaned up… Earning four awards, including Cidermaker of the year! In addition, our relatively small club went head to head with QUAFF and received an honorable mention for the NHC Hombrew Club award! Congrats to winners Nathan Williams (Cidermaker of the year, Gold Specialty Cider & Perry), Ross Druckenmiller (Silver Smoke-Flavord and Wood Aged), and Matt Border (Bronze Amber European Beer)…
July Monthly Meeting and Worts Picnic!!!
The July Monthly meeting for the Worts will also be our annual BBQ and will be held on July 21 from 2 PM to 10 PM. This year we are lucky to be hosted Tom Bell, Wort member and master cider maker at his house in Cohasset. More info to come on food and carpooling.
Located a short distance away are several beaches, if you’d like to take in some sun before the festivities begin!

June Monthly Meeting
